Different By Design

The only way I make it through the chores of the day sometimes (especially laundry… and maybe the dishes… and possibly cleaning the bathrooms...), is by turning on a podcast and listening to another momma talk. There is something about hearing another mom’s perspective on her life, her tips and tricks for success, and her heart for her children, that re-energizes me and makes me feel like we just might make it after all.

I recently had the opportunity to speak with Pam Barnhill as part of her Homeschool Snapshots Podcast. I LOVE this podcast, precisely because it provides exactly what the name implies – a snapshot into the lives of real life moms. I have enjoyed hearing so many different women, from so many different backgrounds, discuss their day to day lives as if we were having a cup of coffee together (and not, in actuality, streaming a podcast while scrubbing something horrible and sticky of the floor).

I am so grateful that Pam gave me the opportunity to share our story, my heart for these boys, and what God is doing around here every single day.

Please head over to the podcast where we discuss the unique mix of challenges and joys that are a part of my everyday life.

I tried to keep it as real as possible for y’all, because I know you wouldn’t want it any other way!
