My Favorites and Yours – 2016

It’s the end of another year.

A year filled with ups and downs, successes and failures, diagnoses and treatments, and more mothering than I ever thought possible.

As much as I am looking forward to the new mercies I’m praying 2017 will bring, I wanted to end this year well, and with all of you.

I cannot tell you how much Not The Former Things means to me. I cannot tell you how much you mean to me.

Your kind comments, your promises to pray for my boys and for me, the much needed support from buying my small little books and linking to products on the site, and most importantly, the resounding message over and over again – I am not alone. We are not alone. You remind me that we can do this, and we can do it together.

I thought, as a way to say goodbye to 2016, I would share our favorites from the site this year – yours and mine.

Your Favorites: (the top 5 most read in 2016)

#5 – Special Needs Motherhood Is Lonely Work

#4 – When You’re Not The Mom You Want To Be

#3 – When Your Child Isn’t At Grade Level

#2 – When Church Hurts

My Favorite Post In 2016:

Looking For The Good Is Sacred Work

I wish you so much love as you end the year with your families, and prepare for 2017.

Be safe. See you next year!

With gratitude and respect,
